Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born 18 November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and developed a passion of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first time she tried out, she was ranked second in 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003, and was signed by Adidas to become professional athlete. Following that, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. Felix was also the youngest participant in the 200 meter in the world championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She defended her title the following year, by beating the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo regularly placing in the top three in all her races.
